THE PREMISE

In the autumn of 1996, Hogwarts opens its subterranean archives to student volunteers to sort through a century of neglected records for the school's centennial. It starts as simple extra credit work—until a group of students unseals the Register of Discarded Hours, an ancient brass-bound ledger hiding a locked temporal vault.

Breaking the runic seals collapses the stasis magic inside, snapping open a rift that pulls a group of 1800s students straight into 1996.

Desperate to avoid Ministry oversight and keep the peace before the anniversary festivities, Dumbledore and the faculty bury the truth. To the rest of the castle, the displaced 19th-century arrivals are simply the "Centennial Exchange Cohort."

Only the staff and the student volunteers who opened the vault know what really happened—and they're stuck helping the arrivals adjust while covertly searching for a way to fix the timeline.
