Storyline:

In the beginning of our world, great stone gods loomed over the souls and lives of humanity, guiding their every action and ordaining the will of life itself. The earliest ones of humanity bent their wills to these great gods for fear of their wrath. Yet, in the darkness, they found something they had always yearned for; a way to fight these 'gods' that they had worshipped. An ancient evil that had laid dormant for many years, hidden by the ancients as a last resort against those who would threaten the sovereignty of the world. Using this power, they pushed back the deities that they had come to hate, but in the process lost their own souls; that one thing that made them human. You are the descendants of these same heretics who sacrificed their humanity to become that which they hated. gods. Use these tools and powers ordained from the lives of your ancestors to reclaim that same spirit that had been so lost so long ago in the fires of desperation and dispair. For this is the goal of all men, our complete and final ouroboros.
